“EU Solidarity Corps _ Occupational Strand photo & video contest”

Take part in the #SolidarityContest and have a chance to win a ticket for two people flying to a European city!

Show us what you have experienced during your European Solidarity Corps professional activity and you could be one of the lucky winners!

Who can participate?

The contest is open to young participants who are carrying out or have just completed their job/traineeship in the project.

How does it work?

The contest will start in May and will end in August 2019. You will receive an e-mail invitation to tell your job/traineeship story in the field of solidarity in Europe through texts, photos and videos.

Taking part in the contest is very easy, just replay to this e-mail sending:

  • release forms (including the consent of all the people in the photo)
  • photos (each photo should be of minimum 600 dpi resolution) and videos (mp4 and maximum duration of 5 minutes)
  • a title and a short description using the hashtag #solidaritycontest.

Please note: if your photos and videos files are too large you can use a web service (e.g. Wetransfer)

Starting from June 1st we will publish monthly on the Contest Facebook page the received material by 31st May.

These are the publication dates:

  • June 1st (for materials sent by May 31st)
  • July 1st (for materials sent by June 28th)
  • August 1st (for materials sent by July 31st)
  • September 1st(for materials sent by August 31st)

Be creative! You can describe your story through these themes:

  • skills: what did you learn from this experience? How did it increase your skills for the labour market?
  • challenges: what challenges did you face? How and how much have you grown humanly and professionally?
  • memories: pictures and shots of what you carry with you after the experience (the people you have met, the places you have experienced, etc.)
  • future: how do you see your professional future? Will you continue to work in the field of solidarity?

You can upload one or more photos/videos for each category.

Your photo(s) will be displayed in the public gallery on the Contest Facebook page.

The ANPAL – EURES National Coordination Office team reserves the right to verify the appropriateness of the material sent to decide whether to publish it or not.

N.B.: in order to allow the participation in the contest, all the video and photographic contributions must be accompanied by the signed release form for the use of images and by the author release. You can find these forms here.
